Our personalized Stride Ahead program is designed for students who want to start the next school year on a solid footing and achieve top grades. With a crisp and focused learning plan, you get to work with our expert tutors on the next grade Math and Science topics that are considered inherently challenging. By closing conceptual gaps, if any, in previous year’s topics and preparing in advance for next grade, Stride Ahead enables you to maintain or gain an edge over your peers. With flexibility to schedule the 20 sessions and spread them in topics that you want to ace, Stride Ahead is a great summer learning opportunity you would not want to miss.
How The Program Works
1.
Once you buy either the Skill Builder or the Stride Ahead Summer Offering and login to your account on Global Scholar, you will be able to take the pre assessment tests on your own. You choose to take the Math and/or Science assessments for the grade relevant to you.
2.
Based on the results of your assessment, our tutors would be ready with an analysis of your areas for improvement.
3.
You can then schedule your first session by choosing the Math or Science tutor listed under the course your purchased.
4.
In your first session, the tutor gives you feedback on your assessment results and chalks out a learning plan for you.
5.
This learning plan will include the topics that will be covered and the number of sessions that will be spent on each topic.
6.
The number of tutoring sessions will be limited to 20 for the Stride Ahead while for the Skill Builder, it will be based on the lesson plan agreed between the tutor and the student.
How Can You Schedule Your Classes?
Scheduling classes on Global Scholar is pretty simple. After you buy the either the Stride Ahead or the Skill Builder offering,
you can start the session scheduling after you take the preloaded assessments or even without taking the assessments.
Once you login
You will be able to see the tutor’s availability schedule.
You can choose to schedule a Math or a Science session by choosing the appropriate tutor.
