Some history first. There is a product on the market called Live Person. It's a software product that allows you to provide live assistance to site visitors. Next time your browsing a site and see an option to "chat", odd are that the site is using a Live Person or a similar product. One more thing; before you heartlessly refuse an overture of live help, just know that there is a real live person on the other side of the screen. Who wakes up each and every morning. And trudges to work in the snow. Why? To help you. Nothing more. Selflessness in action. And then you deny him/her this pleasure :-)
Anyways, so, on our site, we also offer this feature. That way, when customers have questions about something on the site, they need not pick up an anachronistic device most commonly referred to as the telephone and laboriously punch in a multitude of digits. Rather, they can simply click on the live chat button and receive an instant response. For a real person!
Back to the story. This afternoon, I was hanging around on Live Person and spotted a visitor come to the site from a dot gov organization. Interesting already. So, I took a closer look and noticed that the visitor was an employee of the IRS.

And guess what this person was searching for on our site? An accounting tutor! Kid you not. (Tutor was actually misspelled. Thankfully, our site also has English tutors available as well...)

Perhaps this ought to be the new tagline for our tutoring platform: "Come to GlobalScholar.com. Where the IRS turns to for accounting help".
