GMAT & GRE Requirements for Admissions

GMAT & GRE Requirements for Admissions

For admission into most business programs, it is required that you either complete the GMAT or GRE. Each school will have different minimum score requirements and some programs may not require completion of the tests at all.

What is GMAT?

The GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) is generally a required part of the admissions process for buisness schools. Often, completion of the GMAT is required for finance and economics programs. However, there are many online schools that do not require completion of the GMAT for graduate school admissions.

What is GRE?

The GRE (Graduate Record Exam) is typically used by graduate schools to assess the qualification of applicants, with the exception of business and law school students, who take the GMAT. The GRE can be taken in several different forms, such as subject tests and the GRE General Exam. However, just like many online business schools, many online schools do not require the completion of the GRE for admissions.
