Good evening dear blog reader. I say "reader" in the singular form because I know there's only about one person who actually comes here to visit.
It's 8 PM here in GS HQ. I had lunch about an hour ago. It was delicious. Zagat ought to be rating my office lunches.
FYI, I attempted to flee the responsibility of authoring this corporate blog. Indeed, I nearly escaped. The getaway car was in the correct location. Even my ski mask managed to stay on the entire time. But at the very last moment, I flinched. And got conned back into writing here!
Note to self in the public domain: during future blog ditchings, flinch not, or forever hold onto your blog.
And now, I am actually feeling much better.
A little riddle for y'all:
Q: What is about six-feet tall, has a receding hairline and teaches Bar Mitzvah lessons over the internet?
A: Elliot Spizter. Kidding. ME!
So, I am a GobalScholar.com employee. Can you believe it? I am actually on someone's payroll! At the same time, I am also a tutor on the GS tutoring platform. Link to my courses. What type a tutor? A Bar Mitzvah tutor. That's what. For those on the West Coast, here's a wiki link defining Bar Mitzvah.
Why do I tutor on our site?
1) To make a couple of extra bucks. I have an addiction to buying socks. Long story. Anyways, every extra dollar helps. I charge $3 per session, so, after about 20 sessions, I should be able to afford a few pairs of socks at UrbanOutfitters.

2) I love teaching. And flirting. I've even flirted with the idea of teaching full time. That's one of the main reasons why I chose to work here. The other main reason was that I wanted to share a tiny office with another two coworkers. It's amazing. I love being all cramped up.
3) It's crucial to use the product you are selling. If I am not comfortable with our product, how can I possibly convince others to use our service? If I worked at Facebook, I'd spend a few hours a day playing with pointless applications and poking strangers. But alas, I work for a tutoring company. And so now, I am full fledged Bar Mitzvah tutor.
On the internets no less!
