'tis the season, college seniors - that long march toward college has begun. Actually, it began about 4 years ago when everyone and his brother asked you where you wanted to go to college and what you wanted to do with your life, but now some of the paperwork is due.
Most of you will take the SAT, ACT or both, so keep an eye on the deadlines.
The SAT and SAT subject tests will be offered on October 4th - registration, which you can complete online, goes until September 9. You can register up until September 16, but you'll pay a late fee after Tuesday. If October 4th doesn't fit, take a peek at the schedule and select another date [preferably sooner rather than later].
The next available ACT is on October 25th, with a registration deadline of September 19th. Late registration goes until October 3. You can register here.
And when you've registered, do a little practice. The College Board offers some SAT Prep questions and the ACT offers a free test prep guide.
