There is a famous saying that “human beings live to learn or live to decay”. Life is a long journey of continuous learning. Everyone wants to learn something new and many of us want to share our knowledge with someone else.

Our goal at GlobalScholar is to empower learning and sharing within the online global village. We believe in empowering the teacher in everyone and the student within. We have taken a small step in creating a global ecosystem where you can pick and choose what you want to learn or teach and how to attach value to this knowledge sharing.

Whether you are a teacher by profession or someone who has the passion to teach, we are here to provide you the platform to fulfill your goal. If you are a student or parent looking for help, be it an SAT exam prep or a simple question from daily homework, you can get help from a pool of highly qualified (vetted) teachers within our community.

Our technology platform is the first to facilitate a seamless information transfer from your classroom or school to your personal learning outside of school with a teacher. In order to fully realize the benefits of having one digital educational record, your school needs to use our technology to manage classroom learning (with respect to curriculum, assessments, learning resources tied to your state standards).

Additionally, we have taken sincere steps to ensure the safety and security of personal information to make our platform a highly reliable source for your learning needs.

If you are an authority involved with a school, school district or state education, please contact us to find out how easy and cost effective this solution is in reducing the administrative burden for you and the teachers (OK, I will stop the marketing J).

We have a committed, passionate team working hard to bring this service to you and would love to get your feedback on whether the tools we have provided are sufficient as well as anything else can we do to make the program easy and engaging.

Thanks,

Kal Raman

P.S. Please don’t forget to play with our CollegeFinder search tool – where you can search, browse and compare colleges on attributes such as ratings and famous alumni, in just a few clicks. We want you to think of us when you think of education (what a small goal!!).

I also had the misfortune to work with this so-called "genius" and he is a real piece of work. He made a mockery of the IT Department at Blockbuster Corporate, whined when he didn't get his way, practiced cultural nepotism by insisting on hiring non-English speaking Indian consultants to "program his way" and forced out all of the English workers. He basically wanted to be the CIO and when he didn't get his way, he destroyed what he could and ran away - after spending less than a year there.

So, no wonder Drugstore.Com failed. I hope he's investigated for all of the "hidden money" he took as self-serving "bonus to me and nothing for you" type payouts. Of course he didn't take stock - he made sure it was worthless.

Basically, he is a bigot and a pretender that cannot run any business operation because of his lack of basic business model understanding and treats people like they are nothing - unless, of course, they are his bretheren.

Burn in Hell, Raman! And go back to India and take your illegals you brought over on H1B Visas along with you.
