Hi, My name is Don Bierman. I am a tax preparer and I teach college for three different schools, some in class and some online. I teach several different classes in the accounting and business disciplines. I had my own firm for a number of years doing legal services and consulting in the Human Resource and Compensation areas. Prior to that I was managing compensation and benefits for several firms in the San Francisco Bay Area in the finance, retail, semiconductor and software industries. One of my passions is coaching and officiating youth sports. In the spring it's baseball, soccer in the fall and youth basketball in the winter. I am a professional sports official for high school baseball, soccer and water polo. I currently coach the basketball team at the elementary school near my house. I have coached both baseball and soccer at all age levels over the past dozen years. I was born in Virginia, spent most of my early years moving around as part of a military family. We settled in California when I was about 12 and I've been here ever since. I am an appointed member of the Recreation Commission in my city and I am an active member of my Rotary Club. I enjoy reading, playing the guitar and walking Misty, our dog.
