I began my teaching experience at Miami Jacobs Junior College in Dayton, Ohio. I taught accounting and economics at that time. When I graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a BBA, I began work as a department store buyer. I took the teaching job as a part time venture and discovered I loved the classroom environment. Evenually I started working for an accounting firm in Dayton and continued to teach part time at he college.. I moved to Florida in 1979 for a business venture which I sold in 1984. In January of 1985, I began a full time teaching career and before my retirement in 2003, I was promoted to Department Chair of the Business Department. Unfortunaely, I became disabled in 2003 and had to leave my favorite job and work. Now that I'm reired in North carolina, it occurs to me that perhaps there is an avenue to work part-time as an accounting/business tutor. I did a web search today and found your site and therefore offer this application to you. The three favorite words I love to hear when teaching are, "I got it!". That makes my day!
