Easy to understand tutoring available for this demanding subject. Able to assist high school through college-level. The topics we cover are: MECHANICS (vectors; motion along straight line/two or three dimension; Newton's laws of motion and how to apply them; work; kinetic energy; potential energy; energy conservation;momentum and impulse; collisions; rotation of rigid bodies; dynamics of rotational motion (torque); equilibrium; elasticity; gravitation;periodic motion; fluid mechanics);WAVES AND ACOUSTICS (mechanical waves; sound and hearing; doppler effect);THERMODYNAMICS (temperature and heat; thermal properties of matter; first and second laws of thermodynamics);ELECTROMAGNETISM (electric charge; electric field; Gauss's law; electric potential;capacitance and dielectrics; current, resistance, and electromotive force; direct-current circuits; magnetic field; magnetic forces; sources of magnetic fields;electromagnetic induction; inductance;alternating current;electromagnetic waves); OPTICS (nature and propagation of light; interference; diffraction; geometric optics; optical instruments); MODERN PHYSICS (relativity; photons, electrons, and atoms; wave nature of particles; quantum mechanics; atomic structure; molecules and condensed matter; nuclear physics; particle physics; cosmology).
I have a BSc in physics and am now pursuing an MA in mathematics. I truly love the world of physics and enjoy explaining it to others. Therefore, naturally, I feel the same way about calculus because it is the language of physics. I intend to enroll in the graduate (MS) applied physics program next fall. I simply LOVE talking physics and math:-)
