This class will teach students how to earn college credits for life and work experience
I have 20 years experience in education and hold a B.A in Philosophy and Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Pittsburgh and an M.A. in Educational Technology from George Washington University. I have worked as an Academic Advisor for most of my career and am experienced in assisiting students in acquiring study skills and searching for colleges that match their interests and abilities. In addition, I teach Ethics and Public Speaking at the college level and train faculty to teach online and to identify student learning styles and develop effective assesments. I also teach a seminar called "Get Credit for What You Know" which shows participants how to use testing and life/work experience to accelerate earning a college degree. I have three children, one grandson, and with my husband run a farm where we raise sheep, donkeys, cows and chickens. My passion is education and I totally enjoy help ing students to reach their goals.
